We are more than just a Grateful Dead Podcast, more than a music and culture show, something other than a Deadhead family of cosmic wanderers.... We're real people living a life uncommon and we’ve grown into a thriving community… The No Simple Road Family. It really has been a trip to see where this show has taken us… Back in 2017 we started a Grateful Dead podcast and soon it became about so much more than just The Grateful Dead. No Simple Road has turned into a show about the whole music scene, the community of freaks, heads, weirdos, misfits, dabblers, and wildcards that we are a part of and love so much. Beyond the music, we delve into the worlds of comedy, food, art, books and all the things that turn us on, make us think, bring us joy, and make us smile! We’re grateful to have you along for the trip with us on this wild ride!
AARON - THE CONDUCTOR
Brought into being through the marriage of old Hollywood and circus folk… Aaron is the creator and co-host of the No Simple Road podcast. Aaron has spent a lifetime following the Magick of live music and has hosted over 300 in-depth interviews and conversations with some of the biggest names in the live music, psychedelic, jam band, and music festival worlds. He is a jack of all trades working in television production, radio, and entertainment, and has made it his lifelong mission to create a legacy by facilitating a deeper connection to the artists, poets, and luminaries that shape our reality.
MEL
Matriarch and resident badass… Co-host of No Simple Road, Reiki Master, and practitioner of the healing arts. Melanie brings her unique feminine viewpoint to No Simple Road weekly and serves as the grounding rod and true north to the show. Truly she’s the matriarch of the No Simple Road Family and works to spread healing in a number of modalities through spoken word, touch, Yoga, Reiki, Tarot, Aesthetics, and her art.
APPLE
Lover of all things miniature and connoisseur of herbal remedies… Co-host of No Simple Road. Apple works as a facilitator in the cannabis industry helping individuals find holistic and natural alternatives. He’s the behind-the-scenes researcher for NSR. His contribution has been an integral piece in the success of the show by connecting with guests, on a human level, with honesty and humor.
